Milestones.
Company founders Andreas Zachmann, Helmuth Pauli and Hans-Peter Frei, after whom ZPF is named, had the idea of utilising synergies: These three structural engineers’ close connections with the architectural office Herzog & de Meuron were given a basis in the form of ZPF Ingenieure AG. The result: a series of renowned and extraordinary construction projects.
Founded in 2001, ZPF is now one of Switzerland’s most famous structural engineering companies. We are also involved in renowned international projects, for which we provide consulting services and concepts.

After five years, the ZPF team in May is finally on the road again - this time in Rotterdam and finishing off on the North Sea.

In December, ETH Zurich announces that it has selected Dr Jacqueline Pauli as Professor of Structural Design at the Department of Architecture. She will succeed Prof. Joseph Schwartz in 2023.

The first Architecture Week Basel was a complete success! ZPF supported the biennial as a partner and opened its offices to interested parties with an exhibition and event.

Prix Acier 2021 for Auen school complex! In october ZPF receive their second prize for steel construction after Birsbridge in 2014.

Material matters - so since summer 2020, we have been a service partner of Madaster, the global online platform for circular use of products and materials in the built environment.

Fit for the future: The founding of ZPF Consulting AG in Zurich and ZPF Structure AG in Basel not only enables operational autonomy at these locations, but also provides ZPF Ingenieure with more opportunities with regard to customer acquisition and competitions.

In January, the road maintenance depot in Sissach goes into operation. Upon completion of the landscaping, the building was officially inaugurated on May 18th.
